Kiltarlity schools reunion for those in school in1953 or before

There is to be a Grand Reunion on 9th June 2007, of Kiltarlity former pupils, whether of Tomnacross, Culburnie, Eskadale or Glenconvinth. Everyone is invited who went to school (even though not in Kiltarlity to begin with) before and including 1953.

The reunion will start with a Welcome reception in Tomnacross School, from 2pm until 4pm .

You will be welcomed by the current Headteacher, Mr Graham Bell, and there will be an exhibition of photographs and other memorabilia. Guests will be given a tour of the school and tea and coffee will be available.

The Reunion Dinner will take place at 7.00 for 7.30pm in the Kiltarlity Community Hall. The inclusive cost will be £25.

On arrival there will be a welcome drink followed by a three course dinner with wine, provided by a local caterer.
A bar will be available until 12.00pm with background music provided by Graham Bell and Friends.

There should be plenty opportunity for guests to renew friendships and reminisce over the good old days.

Numbers are restricted by the size of the hall so book early using the form below to avoid disappointment. We cannot register you as a guest until we receive your payment.

(While partners are very welcome to the Exhibition and tour at Tomnacross School we are sorry that for reasons of seating and catering capacity we cannot invite them to the Dinner.)

There is also a drama production to be held in the Community Hall on Friday 8 June   - "After the Long Journey"

On Friday evening, 8th June, 2007, at 7.30 pm in the Community Hall, there is to be a dramatic production "After the Long Journey", performed mainly by children who are pupils of Tomnacross School. This will be a dramatisation of a short account by Mrs Elizabeth Jamieson Crevier (Betty Jamieson) of her wartime childhood in Kiltarlity, when she and her sister lived in Camault Muir and attended Tomnacross School. We hope to have Mrs Crevier, now living in Canada, with us to launch the publication of her book copies of which should be on sale.

Guests at the Reunion (and partners/companions) will be welcome to attend "After the Long Journey", and it would be very helpful if you could indicate here if you think you are likely to attend. Tickets will be obtainable at the door. The final price of these has not yet been fixed but they will not be expensive.
